Well-Being & Personal Growth

Practical wisdom for the whole person โ€” mind, heart, family, and community.

What Well-Being Really Means

Well-being is not the absence of struggle โ€” it is the presence of the resources, relationships, and inner capacity to navigate struggle with dignity. For over 30 years, Anthony Corona has worked alongside individuals and families in some of life's hardest moments: mental health crises, addiction, grief, chronic illness, and the cumulative weight of daily hardship.

What he has seen, again and again, is that well-being is not a destination. It is a direction โ€” a daily practice of choosing growth, connection, and hope over isolation and stagnation. And it is available to everyone, regardless of where they are starting from.

Motivational Interviewing & Well-Being

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is one of the most evidence-based approaches to supporting behavioral change. Anthony Corona is a certified MI practitioner who has used this framework for decades to help individuals and families move toward healthier choices โ€” without judgment, pressure, or shame.

MI is built on the belief that people already have within them the motivation and capacity to change. The role of the practitioner โ€” or the leader, or the friend โ€” is to draw that capacity out, not to impose change from the outside. It is, at its heart, a servant leadership practice.
